Content Management Systems
Every website we build comes with a Content Management System.
This means you can login from any computer to update the pages of your website.
It's a great way of keeping running costs low, and it also means you can have up-to-date company news and product information on your website in minutes.
How does it work?
Your Content Management System sits behind your website and is accessed via a secure, password-protected URL.
It provides a simplified view of each page of your website, and you're able to simply click on the text and links and amend them.
You can also control other website content such as images and documents - the Content Management System will even resize images for you so that they fit correctly on the page.
How much training is needed?
You don't need knowledge of HTML or other web technologies to use our Content Management Systems.
If you're able to use the basic features of Microsoft Word, you'll have no problems with your Content Management System.
We provide training with every new website we deliver - normally around 30 minutes training is all that is needed to get your new website fully up and running.
And if ever your staff change, or you need assistance, your Hosting & Support contract means you have access to our team during business hours right throughout the week.
Maximising Leads & Sales
Obviously it's great that you can manage your website at no cost from any computer.
But it's in your interests to make sure the content you add is Google-friendly, and that it is structured in a way that will generate maximum response from potential customers.
If you're looking to maximise leads & sales from your website why not book on to our Writing for Web workshop?
This will help you give your customers exactly what they are looking for, no matter which page of your website they land on, and will make sure that the content you are adding is exactly what Google needs to see to rank you high up in the listings.
