Both types of website are normally backed by a Content Management System so that you can keep the information on your website up-to-date on an ongoing basis, and in the case of e-commerce website you also have an Order Management System.

Website Structure
Your website should be structured to meet your client's needs rather than your own. Think about what has driven the client to visit your website and make sure you deliver what they want - if you fulfil their needs they will buy from you!
Website Content
Think about how the content for your website is going to be generated. We always recommend professional copywriting and professional photography, and we are able to help in sourcing these services if required.
Ask yourself if your content meets the needs of the visitors to your sites - and keep it as concise as possible whilst including the search terms you think your users will be entering when they are looking for your services.
Website Promotion
It's important to remember that with a new website you should expect to wait 10-12 weeks until the major search engines have all properly indexed your website.
